Evergreen Transnational Green Party (TGP), united across borders, languages, and cultures, affirm our commitment to the dignity of all peoples, the stewardship of the Earth, and the advancement of a just and sustainable future.
We recognize that global challenges—climate change, inequality, displacement, and ecological degradation—require international cooperation, grassroots empowerment, and urgent, bold action. Therefore, we establish this constitution to guide our shared work for Internationalism, the advancement of people's lives, and the scouring and safeguarding of environmental development across the planet.
I: Presentation
The name of this organization shall be the Transnational Green Party (TGP).
TGP is a global, decentralized, democratic political movement rooted in Green values, international cooperation, and planetary justice.
II: Core Values
The Transnational Green Party is founded on the following principles:
Internationalism: We believe in global solidarity and cooperation beyond borders. We support inclusive, just, and peaceful global governance.
Human Dignity and Social Justice: Every person has the right to live with dignity, free from poverty, oppression, and violence.
Ecological Integrity: We defend the Earth’s ecosystems and advocate for policies that restore balance between humans and nature.
Sustainable Development: Economic systems must serve people and the planet, not profit alone.
Participatory Democracy: Decisions must be made by those affected, through transparent, inclusive, and accountable processes.
Nonviolence: We reject war, militarism, and structural violence in all forms.
Cultural Respect and Diversity: We honor the diversity of cultures, languages, traditions, and identities.
III: Objectives
TGP seeks to:
Coordinate transnational Green political action to address shared global challenges.
Promote policies that prioritize environmental recovery, climate justice, and the well-being of future generations.
Support people's movements working to improve livelihoods, access to education, healthcare, food sovereignty, and clean energy.
Build a political platform that connects Green parties, civil society, Indigenous communities, youth, and progressive internationalists.
Advocate for a new economic model that prioritizes regeneration, equity, and circular sustainability.
IV: Membership
Membership is open to:
Individuals who support TGP’s values and objectives.
Organizations, parties, and grassroots movements that align with the TGP Charter.
Membership shall be non-discriminatory and inclusive.
Members shall have the right to participate in deliberations, vote in assemblies, and stand for leadership positions.
V: Governance Structure
Global Assembly
The supreme decision-making body, composed of all members, convening annually.
Votes on policy positions, constitutional amendments, and elects representatives.
Coordinating Council
A rotating, gender-balanced body representing major regions and constituencies.
Ensures day-to-day coordination, communication, and campaign implementation.
Thematic Working Groups
Open platforms for collaboration on specific issues (e.g., climate, labor, food, peace, digital rights).
Responsible for drafting policy proposals and organizing initiatives.
Ethics and Accountability Committee
Independent body ensuring adherence to the Constitution, transparency, and ethical conduct.
VI: Decision-Making
TGP will strive for consensus-based decision-making.
In cases where consensus is not possible, decisions shall be made by a two-thirds majority vote.
All processes will be transparent and digitally accessible.
VII: Financing
TGP shall be financed through:
Membership contributions
Grants from aligned institutions
Voluntary donations and fundraising campaigns
Financial transparency and ethical sourcing are mandatory.
VIII: Affiliations
TGP will seek cooperation with:
Green parties worldwide
Indigenous networks
Environmental NGOs
International peace and justice coalitions
TGP rejects partnerships with entities involved in ecological destruction, militarism, or human rights violations.
IX: Amendments
Amendments to this Constitution require:
Proposal by at least 10% of the membership or a recognized Working Group
Approval by a two-thirds vote at the Global Assembly
X: Dissolution
The dissolution of TGP can only occur through:
A three-quarters vote of the Global Assembly
Prior consultation with all member parties and regional representatives

We dedicate this constitution to all peoples fighting for life, land, liberty, and ecological survival. Our task is global. Our duty is urgent. Our hope is rooted in solidarity.
